Viral Momo Challenge Game

The Momo challenge is another horrible trend targeting childrens, wherein a creepy looking woman or doll with straggly hair, protruding eyes and an evil grin called 'Momo' lures kids to contact her through WhatsApp.

After the most viral and horrible blue whale challenge which claimed many innocent lives another viral craze which compels self-harm and suicide is spreading like fire named Momo challenge.

With her grotesque features, it is no wonder that children are scared of the haunting image that features in the game, and schools have issued warnings about it.

The Facebook post says the character in the photo below is Momo and when downloaded, she tells your child to communicate with them via WhatsApp and a number of other widely-used apps. Momo then tells your child to do a series of challenges that get more dangerous as you complete them,  and can end up telling your kids to self-harm or commit suicide. If kids don’t do as instructed, Momo threatens to put a curse on them.

Elsewhere, it has been linked to the death of a girl of 12 in Argentina and a boy of nine in Brazil.

A five-year-old girl was told to 'kill herself and others with a knife' in a sickening Momo Challenge video, her horrified mum has revealed.

Momo Challenge Song
"Momo. Momo. Momo's going to kill you.

"Momo. Momo. Momo's going to kill you.

"At night she'll come, when you're in bed,

"In the morning, you'll be dead.

"Momo. Momo. Momo's going to kill you.

"Momo. Momo. Momo's going to kill you.

"Do you want a surprise?

"Look in her eyes.

"I won't lie, you're going to die

"Momo. Momo. Momo's going to kill you.

"If you don't believe, you think she's just made of stone,

"She will get you, when you're home alone.

"Momo. Momo. Momo's going to kill you."

Instead of warning children about Momo specifically, use this as an opportunity to teach good practices online.
